Freetown’s Flood Fighters

Freetown Flood Fighters: Women’s Resilience on the Frontline is a short documentary commissioned by Lloyd’s Register Foundation that highlights how local women in Freetown, Sierra Leone are leading community‑led responses to climate change and frequent flooding. The film was created in collaboration with MakerChange Studio and the Freetown Media Centre, and it shines a light on the resilience, organisation, and leadership of female‑led groups working to protect their communities in the face of environmental risk.
